Free Tax Refund Estimator for Australia
Use this free calculator to estimate your Australian tax refund or tax bill for the 2025–26 or 2026–27 financial year. Answer a few quick questions about your income, tax withheld, deductions, private health cover and any HELP or study loan debt. The estimator applies the ATO resident tax rates, the low income tax offset, the Medicare levy and Medicare levy surcharge, and compulsory study loan repayments, then shows a breakdown and tips based on your answers. It takes about two minutes. When you see your results, your contact details and a summary are sent to our team so we can follow up. The result is a general estimate only and is not tax advice. Your actual outcome is worked out by the ATO when you lodge your tax return.
